There are many ways to become a certain kind of person. For a doctor, you have to graduate 13 years of high school, earn a Bachelor’s Degree, get to medical school and finish with a PhD. To become wise, you read books on philosophy, the sciences, arts, mathematics, literature, and gain as much experiences as possible (read: get older) and eventually find an audience to impart said wisdom. And yet to become a Christlike person, to become the very person that God wants us to be, we simply have to get to know our Creator, spend as much time with Him as possible by reading His word, obeying His commands and loving our neighbour as much as we love ourselves, and the next thing you know, you are turning into Him!

Be encouraged to live a life that bears fruit - make a difference in the lives of those around you by loving them and treating them as you would like to be treated! God may look at our heart and see our intentions, see our willingness but He also sees what we do with the love we have in our hearts, the kindness, the mercy, the forgiveness through what we think, say and do.
