Food and fellowship are important events in the life of our church. The Kitchen Ministry team utilizes their skills and abilities to organize the fellowship meals, organize catering for special events, oversee the maintenance, operation, and purchase needed supplies for various fellowship meals and events.
We have a fellowship lunch every Sunday after the worship service. Lunch or morning tea is provided by the congregation which is divided into 3 groups where each group is on a monthly roster basis. Each group has at least 5-6 families with one leader that is also in the lunch group. The group that is in the roster is responsible for preparing, setting up the tables, serving food, washing the dishes and cleaning up.
Overall, the kitchen ministry coordinators oversees the maintenance, health and food safety, kitchen operation, and checking the kitchen supplies and facilities. During functions and special events, they coordinates with his team who are qualified with food handling experience. They are also in charge and delegates the kitchen tasks for every function and special events in the church.
